Man o man has the heat and humidity come on in Missouri! We’re finally getting some rain, but it’s coming in the form of late evening storms. Fortunately, we haven’t had any damage. We have picked up 1/4 inch of rain over the past two days. That’s not much, but I’ll take it. We’ve been watering 1-2 times a week.
We’re on a waiting list for wood chips from a tree trimmer, until then it’s just dirt and that doesn’t hold moisture.
Our corn has begun to tassel already. It’s a little short. We planted it too close together. *Note for next year.
My zucchini plants are monsters! Now there are two plants per hill, but they are huge! It’s everything zucchini in the kitchen right now. Bread, chips, zoodles & veggie spaghetti. I’ll be sure to post some of the dishes.
The beans are next to them. These are bush beans. They’re doing good. We had a bug issue early on.
Have a great weekend!
